Digital Sobriety: developing sustainable software

Speaker Bio:

Santiago Fontanarrosa is VP of Technology for the Sustainable Studio, with a focus on Green IT and Sustainable Technology. He has join Globant in 2010 and has over 15+ years of experience. He worked for world-class customers from Latin America, the United States, and Europe. Over the last years, he has led different teams on different business verticals, such as Retail, Banking, and Airlines, helping clients successfully achieve their business goals. Has delivered and led teams to implement and deliver a wide array of software and infrastructure projects, on different technologies; from Mobile and Web Development, Microservices and APIs, to Infrastructure and Cloud-Based projects.

Currently, his main focus is Green Engineering and he also serves as a steering member of the Green Software Foundation. He possesses a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the Universidad Nacional de Rosario and has given and participated in many lectures and courses over his professional career.
