Laura Souilla is a distinguished partner and esteemed director, overseeing GME's Energy Development & Sustainability division, where she leverages over 25 years of expertise in power and natural gas markets, with a primary focus on emerging economies. A true authority in her field, Laura specializes in power market structures, economic fundamentals, and regulatory frameworks, excelling in demand and price forecasting, investment project valuation, and analysis of supply contracts.

Laura has cultivated extensive experience leading market-related studies in Latin America, the Caribbean, and Africa, solidifying her reputation as a key player in the energy sector. In recent years, she has honed her attention on critical aspects tied to the energy transition, actively engaging in topics like energy efficiency, renewable energy, and the development of low-carbon hydrogen solutions.

Master's degree in International and Development Economics from Yale University, Connecticut, Estados Unidos.
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the National University of La Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Sergio Kapusta | Rice University

Dr. Kapusta is an esteemed figure, serving as the director of the Rice Energy and Environment Initiative. With a distinguished career at Shell, he has gained expertise in various aspects of the oil and gas industry and held the prestigious role of chief scientist within the Royal Dutch Shell group of companies.

During his time at Shell, Dr. Kapusta played a pivotal role in advising senior management on science and engineering matters that significantly impact the industry. Moreover, he fostered collaborations with academic and research institutions while spearheading the development of Shell's strategic research and development plans. Dr. Kapusta's contributions to the field are evident through his authorship of over 70 technical papers.

His educational background is equally impressive, boasting a PhD in Chemical Engineering and an MBA from Rice University, where he is currently a dedicated educator, teaching in both the Engineering and Business Schools.
