Corporate Sponsor Highlight: Flow Management Industries Expands Its Industrial Footprint in ArgentinaFlow Management Industries, an ATCC Corporate Sponsor, recently celebrated the inauguration of the expanded and modernized plant of Aceros ITASA, one of the companies within its group, in Paraná, Entre Ríos. The project represents a US$3 million investment carried out under the province’s Régimen de Incentivo a las Nuevas Inversiones (RINI), aimed at strengthening production capacity and incorporating new technologies. The inauguration was attended by Entre Ríos Governor Rogelio Frigerio, who highlighted the importance of the investment for the province’s industrial development and its connection to strategic sectors such as oil & gas, energy, mining, and nuclear industries. ITASA specializes in high-tech steel castings and manufactures components, including ball valves used in Vaca Muerta operations, contributing to Argentina’s growing energy supply chain from its base in Entre Ríos. The new investment is expected to significantly increase ITASA’s production capacity while reducing production times and improving productivity and quality. The company is also looking to expand into new international markets, with the United States standing out as an important area for growth. The inauguration also provided an opportunity to strengthen U.S.-Argentina business connections. A representative from Fast Flow Pumps, a potential U.S. client based in Mississippi, visited the new facility and met with Governor Frigerio during the event. ITASA is currently working on potential new business opportunities with U.S. companies, including projects related to energy equipment and components that could be manufactured in Argentina for markets in both Argentina and Chile. The expansion reflects Flow Management Industries’ continued commitment to developing industrial capabilities and creating opportunities for international collaboration, while highlighting the potential for Argentine companies to become increasingly integrated into global energy supply chains. |
