Ruth Hughs receives the 2025 Bridging Award

During the Bridging Argentina and Texas Seminar, held at the Midland Petroleum Club, the Argentina–Texas Chamber of Commerce (ATCC) proudly presented the 2025 Bridging Award to Ms. Ruth Hughs, Partner at Kelly Hart & Hallman, Former Secretary of State of Texas, and Member of the ATCC Advisory Board.

Each year, this recognition honors individuals who have played a key role in strengthening the ties between Texas and Argentina, advancing the Chamber’s mission to foster collaboration, innovation, and mutual growth across both regions.

Born in Argentina and raised in Texas, Ruth perfectly embodies the bridge that unites our two communities. Her unique background and deep understanding of both cultures have made her an invaluable ally in promoting dialogue and building opportunities across borders.

Throughout 2025, Ruth has played an essential role in ATCC’s activities. She participated as speaker and moderator in the Chamber’s two major events of the year and led the American delegation that traveled to Argentina in September for the first edition of the trade mission Bridging Argentina and Texas.

Her leadership, vision, and continued support truly reflect the spirit of the Bridging Award. It is an honor for the ATCC to count on Ruth’s strategic insight and active participation in our initiatives.
