Mr. Villarreal specializes in Upstream Oil & Gas strategy and analytics projects with international operators. His subject matter expertise includes exploration strategy, shale basins and plays, and upstream asset modelling and valuation. He currently manages, plans, and delivers consulting projects where he leverages his experience in strategy consulting, performance improvement, fiscal and economic model, and advanced data analytics. Prior to joining IHS Markit, Mr. Villarreal worked for 10 years in management consulting roles focused in organizational management and cross-sector strategy. Mr. Villarreal holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
