Benefits of an IRS Section 1031 Like-Kind Exchange

Ken dove into the world of 1031 Exchange by co-founding and heading up a Qualified Intermediary (QI) company in Denver in 2012. In early 2019, he and the founding McCabe family saw a mutual opportunity for him to sell his firm to Exchange Resource Group (ERG) and come aboard. ERG expertly assists clients who are transacting on 1031-qualifying properties located anywhere on US soil. Ken has been a Certified Exchange Specialist (CES)® since 2016 and has served on the CES Council since nearly that time. This Council is comprised of QIs from around the country and is affiliated with the Federation of Exchange Accommodators (FEA); both are dedicated to furthering § 1031 awareness, education, expertise and ethics.
