Scope

The U.S. and Argentina have the largest unconventional oil and gas resources in the world. While Argentina is at the early stages of developing Vaca Muerta, the U.S. (and particularly the state of Texas) is the world’s #1 producer.

The pandemic, energy transition, and geopolitical tensions are rapidly changing the energy market, creating huge opportunities to unlock Vaca Muerta and foster U.S. production growth. In this context, the U.S., Texas, and Argentina can leverage their strong existing relationships to boost government, business, investment, and operational synergies to enhance and integrate their value chains and positively impact their people, companies, and communities.

We are honored by the confirmed attendance of U.S. Ambassador to Argentina Mr. Marc R. Stanley and Governor of Neuquén Province Mr. Omar Gutierrez.
